POLICIES:

Order Placement

Because all our orders are custom made to your measurements and specifications, we require payment in full when you place your order. We accept Visa, Master Card and Discovery for online purchases. We accept Cashier’s Checks or Money Orders for purchases made by mail. All orders are placed after receipt of payment.

Orders for Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada

Additional freight and handling charges will apply for orders being shipped to Hawaii, Alaska and Canada. For Canadian, and other credit or debit cards outside the United States, additional fees will be applicable. All freight forwarding fees, Duty Fees, Brokerage and any/all other applicable fees for shipments outside the contiguous 48 United States is the responsibility of the Buyer. If you wish to place an order to be shipped outside to Hawaii or Canada, call our Customer Care toll free number and we will determine applicable additional cost and fees for the order before you place your order.

Order Errors

We ask that you take very seriously the measuring video and printable instructions for each product you are ordering. If however an error is discovered after your order is placed or is in production, we will do everything possible to stop the order to make the needed change. But there will be additional charges incurred. Likewise, if the product has already been shipped, it will have to come back to us to make the necessary changes, if changes can be made. Depending upon the type of error, you may return the product to the manufacturer for alteration or we will have it remade at a discount. Once plantation shutters are manufactured, it is unlikely changes can be made. We will attempt to accommodate any change request, but if unable to do so, a new shutter will have to be made at the customer’s expense. If we have made a mistake on your order we will either repair or remake it at no charge.

ALL CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED DURING THE FIRST 12 HOURS AFTER ORDER PLACEMENT.

Shipping Information

Most Products 94” (long or wide) and under will be shipped FOB delivered, at our expense, to your ship to address. Orders with a product over 94” long or wide will incur an additional $65.00 freight charge to you.

For blind and shade orders 94” and under for a quantity of 4 or greater, the shipping is FREE. Orders less than 4 items will incur a $10.00 surcharge. All shutters are shipped FREE unless over 94”, then the $65.00 surcharge applies.

Delivery

All of our “quick ship” products will ship out in 3-5 production days. Others will ship out in 5-7 business days. Norman blinds and Horizon shades will ship out in 7-10 business days. Norman shutters will ship in 6 weeks. Orders will be delivered by UPS or Fed-Ex and normally take 3-5 days in transit with ground delivery. Any products over 94” will ship by freight line and will take 5-10 business days in transit.

Sales Tax

All Florida residents will pay Florida’s 6% sales tax and the surtax for the county that the product is delivered to. All other customer orders shipped outside of the State of Florida will not be charged tax.

Product Warranties

Almost every product we sell has a Limited Lifetime Warranty. This means that any product that has been measured and installed properly in your residence will be free from defective materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product. Normal wear and tear over time including cords that will eventually wear out is not covered. Abuse or misuse, accidents, alterations, exposure to the elements or acts of God and damage from natural disasters also are not covered. If you order a product at a later date to match what you have, the color dye lots may not be a perfect match. It is not likely that you will need warranty service, but should you do, please contact our customer care department at our toll free number and we will be happy to assist you for a repair or replacement if necessary. Claims

Upon receipt of your window treatments, please inspect the boxes for any damage. Have the driver open any box that appears damaged from the outside to see if the product is ok. If it is not, then refuse that particular box. Be sure to record the box number and tracking number. If you are not home and the delivery is left on your porch and there is damage to the product, please call our customer care toll free number as soon as possible. You have 7 days after receiving delivery to give a damage report to the manufacturer. Please keep the product in its original box and give us the tracking number from the box. We will talk to the manufacturer on your behalf to get the damaged product replaced. The manufacturer will issue a pickup for the damaged goods, so do not discard the product or the box it came in.

Color Disclaimer

Product colors that are scanned and placed on our website may have a slight degree of color or texture variation from the actual product. We make every effort possible to present the accurate color or texture. Your computer monitor or video card may produce a slight change in the color. If you need to match with an exact color, then please request a sample of that product before you order. We will provide up to 3 color samples Free. All our products are custom made and cannot be returned. Stained real wood blinds and bamboo woven shades have natural textures and grains that can vary in color when dyed. You should consider ordering all real wood blinds and or bamboo shades at the same time due to this factor so that all of your blinds or shades will match.

Please note that slight variations can occur with any sample and the finished product. That would be caused by dye lots and are within the industry tolerances. That is why we recommend ordering all of the same product at the same time.

Internet Security

All orders placed go through our secure server for online transactions. We use industry standards to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information by utilizing Secure Socket Layer technology that encrypts all of your information before it is sent to us. We treat your data as an asset that should be protected.

Privacy

All of the personal information that you have provided to us will remain confidential and only be used for communication with you. We have not and never will share any customer’s information with anyone.
